Parallel to his studio work, Brian entered the Engineering Department at Avid Technology in Daly City, contributing to Pro Tools 7–9, expanded DSP-accelerated hardware, and third-party integrations with industry leaders such as Waves, SoundToys, and Native Instruments. The role cemented his reputation as a rare hybrid of creative engineer and product technologist.
Ongoing industry impact
Today Brian remains a sought-after beta-tester and preset designer for companies including SoundToys, Relab Development, Leapwing Audio, MAAT Digital, and LiquidSonics, and he helped introduce Acustica Audio to Taiwan in 2010. His credits span 170-plus artists across ten countries, and his client list keeps growing thanks to his knack for merging musical intuition with cutting-edge tools.
Current base & services
Now residing in Taipei City, Brian serves as the in-house mastering engineer and technical advisor at Resident Studios. He offers a full spectrum of audio services—recording, mixing, mastering, private instruction, and technical consulting—always bringing a blend of analog warmth, digital precision, and inventive energy to every project.
