He operates his own studio, Robinson Mastering, which features a custom-built room designed specifically for high-fidelity mastering.
Early Career and Expertise: Robinson began his career in audio engineering, honing skills in recording and production before focusing on mastering. He has been recognized for his technical precision and artistic approach, often collaborating with producers like Jeff Berkley (of Satellite Studio in San Diego) to refine mixes for optimal playback on vinyl, streaming, and other formats.
Notable Collaborations: In 2015, he co-founded Ghost Cable with fellow mastering engineer Giancarlo Camera. The company produces high-end audio cables designed for transparency in mastering environments, stemming from their discovery of an Italian-made cable that improved low-mid frequency clarity in their studios.
